Disneyland Fall Fun!

Yesterday saw... Jayson coming home with free salmon and potato salad; so the pumpkin cookies went out the window, and instead I made a delicious Soy Glazed Green Beans side dish! (recipe here) We've never put sesame seeds in, but they are still delicious.
Once dinner was made we sat down to finally watch 500 Days of Summer. Now there are a few things to know about this movie and the Hamiltons. BEFORE the movie ever hit theatres we were super pumped about it! Then, of course, it came out and we were too broke to head to the movie theatre (but everyone was sure to tell us how much we would love this movie... and we thought... we know, we know!). So FINALLY, after 3 or so years, we sat down to fall in love with it. It didn't disappoint, and I think it might be one we eventually own.
Biggest mistake of the evening: making the hot apple cider (recipe here) far too late in the evening. While waiting for it to boil in the crockpot, we both fell asleep on the couch.

Today means.... enjoying extra spicy, hot apple cider (yay Autumn!). Soon, we will head off to our final day at Disneyland! I already miss it! Before we go, it is tradition to sit and watch part of Star Wars (while eating yummy blueberry muffins and drinking a little pumpkin coffee...did i mention we love Fall?) Feel free to let us know if there is something you need from Disneyland (we take cash or check).
Also exciting, we might run into some of the students/families from my school and Jayson's school, and one of Jayson's co-workers might be there. It's always fun to see other people you know having fun there!

Tomorrow promises... learning and (hopefully) a tan. We have big plans to continue our 3 year anniversary celebration by checking out a few LA museums and heading to the beach. Yes, we are deciding to head to the beach on a slightly cold day; but when you get used to visiting it, it sure it hard to go long without a visit.
